Yacht Charter companies, chandlers, sail makers, boat builders, spar manufacturers and
other related professionals located around the Solent.
The National Sailing Authority, the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) is based in Hamble, near Southampton.

JOG (Junior
Offshore Group) www.jog.org.uk organises
races from Cowes along the South Coast and across the English Channel to a range
of destinations in France.
There are a number of groupings of Sailing and Yacht Clubs in the Solent area and many
Clubs provide reciprocal membership with other Clubs.
